Want to start your own convention? This book will guide you through the process with advice from someone who has started two of them. Avoid many of the common pitfalls which plague first year cons and put on a show that people will be talking about, in a good way. Available on Amazon as Paperback or Kindle ebook!
My latest book. A science fiction novel based on the idea that Earth was invaded by aliens in the late 1800s, but they failed to conquer our world. Like in H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds, they nearly managed to wipe us out before being driven away by disease. They left behind tons of alien technology, which we have back-engineered. The history of the 20th century was vastly altered, and now we have equipped our armies with power armor and constructed a fleet of starships which can take us to the home world of the aliens. A hundred years have passed since the initial invasion, and political will is waning for a counter invasion. Maybe we should just let sleeping dogs lie.
Revelations: An In-Depth Look at the Themes and Symbols of Puella Magi Madoka Magica
I spent a year researching all the literary and religious references and inspirations in this award winning anime series. I also analyzed all the themes and symbols, including the fascinating visual symbolism which pervades the innovative and fascinating style of storytelling used in Madoka Magica. When I was done, I had enough information to write a whole book, so I did.
Zor’s Journal: The Protoculture Con Guide
I used to run the Art and Fiction section of Harmony Gold’s official Robotech website. Because of this, I met lots of talented artists and writers who were also crazy about Robotech. This book is an anthology containing Robotech art, fiction, interviews, comics, etc. For Protoculture Con, the convention celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the original airing of Robotech, we combined my art and fiction anthology with the official program guide for the convention. The first few pages have info about the convention, including the bios for all the guests of honor, and the rest of the book is the art and fiction anthology. It’s a must have for any fan of Robotech.
No longer available on Amazon, I still have a few copies available on Ebay.
